Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of banking loan operations experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of banking systems (Jack Henry).
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (reading/writing/speaking).
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a team and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and bank staff with loan operations inquiries.
• Clear items on a daily basis in G/L reconciliation (loan settlement, unposted G/L, loan suspense G/L, other demand G/L).
• Book all types of loans in the Jack Henry core system (CRE, C&I, SBA, residential, consumer, etc.).
• Process loan modifications, renewals, and extensions per approval and documents.
• Review late fee reimbursements for approval.
• Process loan disbursements, advances, wire transfers, payments, and payoffs.
• Maintain loan maintenance, annual reviews, reversals and reposts in Jack Henry.
• Issue letters and memorandums related to loan operations.
• Process payments and correspondence on third-party service loan portfolio.
• Process Non-Accrual, Charge-Off and Recovery transactions in Jack Henry.
• Prepare interest calculations and post adjustments on loans.
• Prepare participation certificates and notify participants.
• Complete annual training program.
• Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
