Job summary

Fortifi Bank is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist II to support closing, funding, and quality control across commercial and consumer lending. You will maintain loan systems, perform audits, and help ensure documentation accuracy.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, resolve deficiencies, and support compliance, process improvements, and reporting to drive efficient lending operations and risk management.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in banking or loan operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of loan documentation, funding, and operational processes.
• Commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan closing documents for commercial, real estate, consumer, and HELOC loans.
• Perform loan funding activities.
• Maintain and update loan systems and records.
• Conduct quality control reviews and file audits.
• Identify and resolve documentation deficiencies.
• Generate and review reports.
• Provide support across multiple loan operations functions.
• Assist with compliance, audit readiness, and process improvement initiatives.
