Job summary

Delta Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Operations Clerk to support our lending team. You will handle collateral maintenance, loan documentation, and routine clerical tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policy.

Responsibilities include processing loan requests, entering data into LaserPro, boarding loans into Horizon XE, and reconciling daily activities. Strong communication, organization, and proficiency with Word and Excel are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of banking experience, preferably in lending.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workloads.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide loan support to bank officers and personnel, including collateral maintenance and documentation.
• Process loan requests and input into the loan documentation system to generate closing documents.
• Board loans into the core banking system and review packages for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor and clear exceptions related to missing documentation or collateral deficiencies.
• Scan and index loan documents in the filing system.
• Handle incoming calls and cross-train in note department tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Loan Operations Manager.

Provide loan support to bank officers and other bank personnel, including but not limited to maintaining loan collateral, documentation and other clerical and administrative procedures associated with the lending function.Processing loan requests and input into loan documentation system (LaserPro) to generate loan documents for closing.Board new loans into the core banking system (Horizon XE).Review closed loan packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.Monitor and clear exceptions related to missing documentation, or collateral deficiencies.Process loan modifications, extensions, renewal, and payment changes.Scan/Index loan documents into FCM.Daily Reconcilement.File as needed.Handle incoming calls.Cross-train in all note department responsibilities to ensure continuity of daily work-flows.Perform other duties as assigned by Loan Operations Manager.High School Diploma or equivalent requiredA minimum of two (2) years banking experience, preferably some lending relatedMust have a high level of organizational skillsMust be extremely detail orientedMust be able to multitask and follow-upAbility to prioritize daily work flowsProficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft ExcelCustomer service orientedExcellent communications skills, written and verbalPerform well while meeting deadlines in a fast-past environmentAbility to stay focused despite interruptions
