Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a Loan Account Specialist II to support processing of consumer and commercial loan payments, payoffs, draws, funding and charge offs. You will initiate wires, reconcile GL accounts, and assist with inquiries in a fast-paced credit oversight environment.

Responsibilities include daily review of maintenance transactions, creating guidelines, and calculating loan items. A strong Office suite background is essential; 2 years loan experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years Commercial and/or Consumer loan experience.
• Knowledge of consumer and/or commercial loans.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Initiate wires.
• Park uploads of general ledger tickets.
• Monitor, review, and reconcile departmental general ledger accounts and reports.
• Second day review of maintenance transactions and error resolution.
• Monitor departmental mailboxes, answer customer inquiries, and resolve routine problems.
• Help create instructions and establish guidelines to perform job functions.
• Calculate loan items and changes such as interest and payments.
• May adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position.
