Job summary

MidCountry Bank in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist 2 for a full-time, non-exempt role. The position covers all loan and lease operations, ensuring documentation, booking, funding and servicing comply with applicable regulations and bank policies.

This 40-hour-per-week role from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm supports processing, escrow, credit reporting, and data integrity across core systems. Prior loan administration experience is required, with opportunities to grow within a

Responsibilities

• Create basic documents necessary to meet Credit Policy, Regulatory and Compliance, legal and procedural requirements for new commercial, agriculture, consumer and leases as well as modifications, refinances, extensions, renewals, change in terms, and subordinations within established SLAs.
• Inputs loan and lease information onto the core system to accurately reflect executed documentation
• Perform file maintenance in an accurate and timely manner to maintain integrity of loan and lease data on systems.
• Oversee the tracking of real estate tax payments, homeowners’ insurance and flood insurance with vendors.
• Obtain and cancel forced place insurance as necessary and notify customers in an appropriate timeframe.
• Prepare and review credit reporting reports.
• Research and respond to credit report disputes either directly to the customer or though eOscar.
• Oversee monetary transactions including accurately posting any type of loan or lease payment and accurate processing of requested advances, including wire transfers.
• Processes all miscellaneous updates to loans and lease in the core systems, including updates to payment options, payment schedules, statement delivery options, escrow addendums, etc
• Process payoff quotes, payoff transactions, participation payments and wire transfers.
• Perform escrow analysis including tax, PMI and insurance payments.
• Accurately process impaired loan, lease, and other change requests, including, fees, charge offs, write downs, OREO/foreclosures, and bankruptcy system updates.
• reconciling loan and lease applications to general ledger.

Salary Range: $26.00 To $30.00 Hourly

The pay range represents the anticipated base pay for this position. Actual pay will be based on factoring including, but not limited to: market data, internal equity, skillset and knowledge, experience, education and overall qualifications for the role.

JOB SUMMARY

These positions are responsible for all loan and lease operations. Responsible for ensuring that all documenting, booking, funding, and servicing tasks are completed in compliance with the applicable regulations, MidCountry Bank policies and procedures or special requirements as dictated by the loan approval authority.

Education-

• Required: 2-year College/Tech Degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Experience-

• Required: 2+ years of loan administration or related expereince; Fiserv, LaserPro, and/or LeasePlus experience preferred
• Preferred: 4 years of loan and/or lease administration or related experience.
  

SCHEDULE

This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The Company reserves the right to change the schedule as required for business needs.
