Job summary

Commercial Banking Company is seeking an organized Loan Operations role in Valdosta, GA. The position handles loan processing, document verification, file maintenance and daily operational tasks within the Loan Operations Department.

Responsibilities include loan ticketing, uploading to Silverlake, tracking document exceptions, and managing escrows and appraisals. Requires passable banking knowledge and strong customer service skills to support lenders and customers.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Banking experience preferred in loan operations or processing.
• Knowledge of banking policies, procedures and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; good social skills.
• Demonstrates a teamwork attitude with a focus on protecting the bank.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under stress.

Responsibilities

• Complete the loan process including uploading loans to Silverlake, writing loan tickets, preparing files, and verifying documents.
• Process loan requests, write tickets, pull flood data, verify lender information, book loans and maintain files.
• Track, receive and file document exceptions in loan file and Synergy.
• Track and pay escrow items such as property insurance, taxes and annual statements.
• Maintain loan files and secure documents at day end; balance related GL accounts.
