Job summary

Virginia Bankers Association seeks a detail-oriented Loan Operations Specialist to support the loan lifecycle from booking to payoff in our Pennsylvania office. You will manage daily loan transactions and ensure accurate data entry in the core system.

Responsibilities include reviewing files for completeness, maintaining documentation, monitoring escrow and insurance, processing payoffs, handling inquiries, and assisting with regulatory reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in loan operations, loan servicing, or lending support
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic understanding of loan documentation and servicing processes
• Familiarity with mortgage lending guidelines and compliance requirements
• Exposure to insurance tracking and escrow administration is a plus
• Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, core banking systems)

• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries related to loan accounts
• Complete regulatory and internal reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
• Support compliance with all applicable federal and state lending regulations
• Assist with data research, reporting, and process improvement initiatives

What You Bring
