Security Home Mortgage is seeking a Loan Officer Recruiter at our Corporate Headquarters in Orem, UT. This role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and hiring mortgage talent, primarily loan officers, and managing the full recruitment cycle from outreach to offer management.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in mortgage lending or financial services, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in mortgage lending or financial services.
• Strong understanding of mortgage roles and industry terminology.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and similar sourcing platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking ability.
• Familiarity with NMLS licensing requirements preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Paycom.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source qualified candidates for mortgage-banking roles through job boards, social platforms, networking, and industry events.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of licensed loan officers and mortgage operations professionals.
• Conduct outreach campaigns to engage passive candidates.
• Manage full-cycle talent acquisition—from sourcing to offer management—with onboarding support.
• Review applications, resumes, and licensing status.
• Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate fit.
• Forecast hiring needs with leadership.
• Provide market insights on trends and compensation.
