Pelican Credit Union is seeking a Loan Officer Floater to deliver top-notch service and support to members by processing consumer loan products, opening accounts, and issuing credit cards. The role requires strong sales skills to identify member needs and cross-sell appropriate products, while floating to multiple branches across Louisiana to fulfill duties.

The position involves processing loan applications, opening/closing accounts, servicing credit cards, and delivering exceptional service

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a financial institution (teller, call center, lending, or loan processing).
• Strong sales background is required.
• Eligible to be licensed to sell necessary insurance products.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail; excellent member service.

Responsibilities

• Process loan applications with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Open and close personal and business accounts to support members.
• Issue and service new credit cards for members.
• Deliver excellent member service in person or via other channels.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services to meet sales goals.
• Represent as Loan Officer or Member Experience Representative as needed.
