Texell Credit Union is hiring a Consumer Lending Consultant for our Cedar Park Branch in Cedar Park, TX. This onsite role focuses on sales of consumer loans and building member relationships.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of direct-to-consumer sales experience, credit report analysis, and comfort with commissions and aggressive targets. Be prepared to work weekdays with rotating Saturdays and maintain precise loan paperwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years direct to consumer sales experience with high inbound/outbound call volume.
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience analyzing credit reports.
• Comfortable with commission-based roles and aggressive sales targets.
• Strong understanding of consumer loan products (auto, recreational, consolidation, personal, credit cards).

We’re looking for someone who:

• 1 – 2 years direct to consumer sales experience, to include a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience with analyzing credit reports
• Is comfortable with commissioned-based roles with aggressive sales targets.
• Strong understanding of consumer loan products (auto, recreational, consolidation, personal, credit cards) and services.
• Has a teamwork mentality and a drive to work with others to accomplish not only department, but credit union goals.

As a Lending Consultant, you will:

• Be passionate about building relationships with members and meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets!
• Work onsite in our Cedar Park Branch, where you will originate different types of consumer loans (auto, credit cards, personal loans), conducting business via telephone, chat, text, and email.
• Be available to work during the week with rotating Saturdays. Preference is given to those applicants with open availability.
• You will have high goals to meet. But trust us - meeting those high expectations come with high rewards.
• Be responsible for ensuring all paperwork is complete and correct. Accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.
