Job summary

Texell Credit Union in Hewitt, TX is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to work onsite at our Hewitt branch. You will support the Branch Manager in achieving goals, coordinate daily operations with a small team, and help foster a strong sales and service culture.

The ideal candidate has a college degree and 2–5 years of related leadership experience, plus proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, Outlook).

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of management or related leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Knowledge of credit union products, services and policies.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Branch Manager in ensuring organizational goals are met.
• Direct and coordinate activities in a Credit Union facility with a staff of less than 10 employees.
• Apply Credit Union strategies to ensure effective implementation of sales and service culture.
• Ensure team members actively cross sell and recommend credit union products and services.
• Ensure the branch balances all transactions at the close of each day.
• Complete month end balancing, branch audits and ensure branch functions are properly documented.
• Coach and develop staff to enable them to reach their full potential.

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will:

What we need you to have:

• A college degree.
• Two to five years of similar or related management and leadership experience, including the direct supervision of others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products, especially Excel. We use Teams and Outlook heavily too.
• Knowledge of credit union products, services, and policies, which you may already have an understanding of, but don't worry - we'll provide top-notch training!
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
