Job summary

Texell Credit Union in Temple, TX is seeking a Consumer Lending Consultant to join our on-site team at the Temple headquarters. You will engage members by phone, chat, text, and email to originate auto, personal, and card loans while delivering exceptional service.

The role rewards performance with lucrative monthly incentives in a fast-paced call center environment. High school education and strong sales ability preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of direct-to-consumer sales experience.
• At least 6 months analyzing credit reports.
• Comfortable with commission-based roles and aggressive targets.
• Strong knowledge of consumer loan products (auto, personal, cards).
• Team-oriented with a drive to meet department goals.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with members and meet monthly sales targets.
• Originates various consumer loans by phone, chat, text, and email onsite.
• Must be available to work rotating Saturdays.
• Set high personal goals to maximize rewards.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of direct‑to‑consumer sales experience, including a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
• Minimum six months of experience analyzing credit reports.
• Comfortable with commission‑based roles and aggressive sales targets.
• Strong understanding of consumer loan products (auto, recreational, consolidation, personal, credit cards) and services.
• Teamwork mentality and drive to collaborate to achieve department and credit union goals.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about building relationships with members and meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
• Work onsite in a call center environment, originating different types of consumer loans (auto, credit cards, personal loans) via telephone, chat, text, and email.
• Be available to work during the week with rotating Saturdays; preference is given to applicants with open availability.
• Have high goals to meet; meeting those expectations brings high rewards.
• Ensure all paperwork is complete and correct; accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.
