Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in lending, loan processing, mortgage operations, escrow, funding, or banking.
• Knowledge of loan documentation, funding procedures, underwriting conditions, and compliance standards.
• Ability to review financial documents and identify discrepancies.
• Strong organization to manage multiple loan files and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications, closing documents, and funding conditions for accuracy.
• Coordinate with borrowers, brokers, escrow/title companies to move loans to servicing.
• Verify borrower information, income, assets, insurance, and funding documentation.
• Identify missing or inconsistent documentation and coordinate resolution.
• Prepare and submit funding packages according to procedures and deadlines.
• Explain loan terms and funding requirements clearly to borrowers and brokers.
• Partner with management to improve funding workflows and reduce errors.
