Responsibilities

• Interview loan applicants to obtain personal and financial data and assist in completing applications.
• Verify and examine information and accuracy of loan applications and closing documents.
• Order title certificates and appraisals of properties.
• Assemble documents for loan closings (title abstracts, insurance forms, tax receipts).
• Complete transactions necessary to fund the loan.
• File compliance documents when required.
• Record applications for loan and credit, and disbursements of funds.
• Answer questions and advise customers regarding loans and transactions.
• Contact customers regarding acceptance or rejection of applications.
• Identify customers’ needs and propose appropriate products/services.
• Close the sale of products/services or refer customers to appropriate bank personnel.
