Job summary

Planters Bank & Trust Company is seeking a detail-oriented loan processing specialist to promote and maintain positive relations with all loan contacts, verify information on applications, and perform data entry using LaserPro.

Location options include Monroe, Indianola, Clarksdale, and Southaven with travel for training. The role requires two years of banking experience and familiarity with LaserPro; strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or College preferred or a combination of education and experience.
• Two years of banking experience with knowledge of banking, federal and state regulatory requirements preferred.
• Experience with LaserPro and Decision Pro Loan Program or ability to learn a new loan program.
• Two years loan data entry and analysis experience preferred.
• Typing, 10-key Calculator, Fax Machine, Photocopier, Proficient Computer skills required including Word and Excel programs.
• Good verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
• Good time management and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi- task.
• Satisfactory Credit Bureau and Background Report.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain positive relations with loan contacts; verify information on loan applications.
• Perform data entry using LaserPro and print files to respective offices.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with banking regulations.
