Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 0-2 years of experience in loan processing or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools used in loan processing.
• Ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues.
• Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review loan documentation and provide support across the loan process.
• Independently process and close loans in a complex operations environment.
• Perform loan transactional processing, including cash bookings, payments, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Interact with counterparties on positions and balances as needed.
• Support a diverse range of products and services with risk and controls in mind.
• Follow procedures to resolve problems related to loan documentation and processing.
• Recommend process improvements to management.
• Design and analyze moderately complex loan documentation reports for approvals and controls.
