Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred
• 2-3 years loan-processing experience in Commercial, Consumer, or Real Estate
• Knowledge of banking and lending regulations
• Certifications in Banking Regulations / HMDA Compliance / CRA (optional after entry)

Responsibilities

• Analyzes loan requests for varying complexity and prepares documentation per policy
• Reviews applications for completeness and proper approvals
• ProducesDocumentation for consumer, real estate, and complex commercial loans
• Uploads information from Salespro to Laser Pro and verifies accuracy
• Ensures lien perfection with titles, UCCs, mortgages, deeds and title commitments
• Coordinates with external parties to obtain necessary documentation
• Reviews real estate title work and resolves exceptions with attorneys and customers
• Communicates issues affecting loan closing to lenders and corrects deficiencies
• Mentors Documentation Analysts and provides training as needed
• Maintains timely loan packages within service levels and self-manages workload
