Job summary

Shore United Bank in Maryland is hiring a full-time Loan Documentation Specialist to join our lending team. You will prepare, review, and coordinate loan documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely closings, working with lenders, attorneys, title companies, and borrowers.

Responsibilities include preparing documents, ordering appraisals, reviewing for compliance, scheduling closings, and maintaining records while applying UCC, real estate, and banking regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Knowledge of loan structures and lending processes is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with state and federal banking laws and real estate/settlement regulations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares loan documentation within the loan platform and reviews closing packages for compliance and accuracy.
• Orders appraisals/evaluations and flood determinations as required, tracking payments from borrowers.
• Prepares all loan documents in accordance with final approved credit facility.
• Reviews title and lien searches and ensures adherence to credit facility requirements.
• Schedules loan closings and maintains various logs and records.
