Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Loan Closer to own the loan closing process from approval to closing documents at the Midvale, UT site. You will coordinate with title companies, insurers, appraisers, relationship managers and borrowers to ensure accurate, timely closings and exceptional client service.

The role requires a High School degree or equivalent and 2 years of loan processing or related experience, with strong attention to detail and knowledge of loan systems and regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School degree or equivalent and 2 years of loan processing or related experience.
• Proficient knowledge of loan closing processes and procedures and lending regulations.
• Accurate, detail-oriented with multi-tasking ability.
• Strong problem resolution and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of loan systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with title companies, insurers, appraisers, relationship managers and borrowers to satisfy closing requirements.
• Order appraisals, valuations, perform UCC searches and review entity documents.
• Manage multiple loans at different stages with clear, timely communication.
• Ensure service level agreements are met with accuracy.
• Continue process improvements and provide excellent client experience.
