Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank in New York seeks an Associate for Financing Solutions Americas (Loan Capital Markets). You will assist origination, structuring and execution of loan opportunities across the U.S. and Latin America, collaborating with senior originators and other team members.

You will prepare client pitches, support credit analysis and documentation, and help manage deal processes end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA and CMA are highly preferred.
• Experience in finance and accounting required.
• Experience in financial modelling and strong credit analysis skills required.
• Experience in banking required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in origination, structuring and execution of debt opportunities for US and LATAM clients.
• Prepare and deliver client pitches to maximize involvement in loan opportunities.
• Help originate and execute loan financings from inception to completion.
• Conduct credit analysis, documentation and internal booking/reporting processes.
• Maintain internal transaction databases and prepare market/credit analyses.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely deal execution and closing.
