Job summary

Societe Generale in New York seeks an Associate on the Project & Infrastructure Syndicate team to originate and execute syndicated loan financings across the Americas. You will work with industry sector teams to develop market-based structures and advise on best syndication strategies.

The role offers exposure to high-profile transactions and direct interaction with corporate clients and sponsors, based in NYC.

Qualifications

3+ years in financial services, specifically loan capital markets or syndicate.
Strong presentation skills, both oral and written.
Understanding of complex financial structures and legal documents.
Credit skills to assess underwriting risks.
Existing relationships with key participants in syndicated loans markets.
Strong networking skills inside and outside the firm.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Identify active market participants and prevailing terms to guide underwriting decisions.
Pitch market status and syndication strategies to clients for best execution.
Collaborate with industry sector teams to structure market-based solutions.
Develop relationships with banks and non-bank investors for market intelligence.
Originate syndicated loan mandates and manage deal execution.
Mentor junior Syndicate team members and lead deal teams.
Provide market outreach and intelligence in advisory mandates.
