Responsibilities

• Process ACHs and AFTs, manage titles, and maintain GAP claims.
• Track titles and process checks and balance bills.
• Assist with insurance companies for total losses and provide required documentation.
• Mail monthly letters to members regarding their insurance.
• Handle phone payments and check voicemails.
• Provide support for Visa department and maintain loan department reports.
• Verify and process various types of loan payments.

Summary

Perform duties in a timely and accurate manner while providing great member service. Duties include but are not limited to, processing ACHs and AFTs, managing titles, filing and maintaining GAP claims, creating termination statements, and running various reports.

Duties of a loan assistant

• Title tracking
• Processing checks and balance bills with general ledger accounts
• Work with insurance companies on total losses and provide 10 day payoffs and any other required documentation.
• Create and mail monthly letters to members regarding their insurance
• Take over the phone payments
• Answer loan phone line, check voicemails and send messages to the appropriate staff to resolve member issues
• Provide backup support for our Visa department
• Printing, processing and maintaining various loan department reports
• Verify and process multiple different types of loan payments

Certifications

Credit Life and Credit Disability Insurance as well as Financial Counseling. These are not required to have before hiring and will be provided to you through the Credit Union.
