Baker Boyer is seeking a Business Associate to play a pivotal role in loan processing and credit analysis for business banking clients. You will review loan requests, gather financial data, and generate loan documents to support the lending team.

The role emphasizes detailed financial analysis, risk identification, and clear communication with clients and management. Experience with spreading financials and GAAP concepts is valued.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented, thorough and accurate in approach to work.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand, spread, and analyze business and personal tax returns, financial statements, and projections.
• Knowledge of many different types of business accounting.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of administrative duties for Business Advisor(s).
• Gathers information for loan transactions and moves applications through workflow.
• Obtains loan origination information and verifies documents.
• Creates and maintains loan files and clears exception items.
