Job summary

Baker Boyer is seeking a detail-oriented Consumer Loan Processor/Underwriter to support loan intake, gather documents, and prepare files for underwriting while delivering excellent client service. You will coordinate with clients, advisors and title vendors to ensure timely disclosures and accurate data.

The role requires thorough knowledge of lending regulations, strong communication skills, and the ability to review financials and tax documentation.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and accurate with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of federal lending regulations and tax documentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in clients, answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect documents from clients and vendors for underwriting.
• Review appraisals and AVMs for accuracy and completeness.
• Underwrite consumer loan requests within guidelines and communicate decisions.
