Stanford Federal Credit Union is seeking a Loan Administration Specialist to manage daily Real Estate/Member Business Lending servicing tasks onsite in Palo Alto. You will handle loan payments, payoff processing, impound activities, and member inquiries with precision while complying with policies and regulations.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in loan servicing or similar roles, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication skills.

• Post and file post-closing Real Estate and Commercial loan documents.

• Handle loan maintenance, deferments, corrections, and payoff requests.

The Loan Administration Specialist maintains daily workflow of the Real Estate/Member Business Lending servicing desk; ensures that all responsibilities of the desk are handled in a timely manner according to SFCU, investors, state and federal policies and regulations. Servicing functions include but not limited to daily loan payments and payoff processing, impound account activities and customer service.

Who YOU are:

• One to three years of customer service, loan servicing or similar lending experience

What YOU’LL do:

• Assist with DMV Specialist(s) on processing DMV transactions with precision and accuracy
• Manage inventory of original notes, which includes requesting loan files from offsite storage warehouse vendor and internal vault
• Respond to day-to-day member loan inquiries and servicing needs via multiple communication channels.
• Accountable for original Real Estate and Commercial loan security post-closing documents. Duties include scanning and filing of post-closing documents.
• Set up ACH accounts when requested, accurate posting of payments, processing payoff demands and other required duties.
• Responsible for loan maintenance, deferments, loan corrections and payoff demand requests. Manually posts ACH errors, payment reversals and other special requests.
