Position Overview

The Loan Administration Manager is responsible for managing the onboarding of all new loans and changes in terms, in order to ensure proper servicing of the commercial, consumer, and residential mortgage loan portfolio. This individual is also responsible for providing efficient and accurate documentation review and retention, insurance tracking, collateral perfection and for maintaining the document imaging system. In addition, the Loan Administration Manager is responsible for managing loan-related aspects of the core operating system. This individual will be responsible for timely and accurate updates to the core system as well as development and maintenance of system generated management reporting.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensures that all activities of the Loan Servicing Department are conducted in accordance with established lending policies and procedures.
• Monitors the efficiency and accuracy of all servicing tasks, e.g., insurance tracking, collateral control, loan exceptions, file review and maintenance, loan boarding, Navigator reviews, document imaging, file room maintenance, etc.
• Monitors the efficiency and accuracy of all systems maintenance tasks, e.g., modifications of terms in accordance with loan approvals, DocStar management, etc.
• Oversees the workflow of all incoming new loans or CITs, ensuring proper capture of documentation and systemic allocation to all persons with a role in reviewing and updating systems to reflect the original intent of said documentation.
• Coordinate efforts with the IT area; evaluates and implements technology to maximize efficient and timely processing of all loans from an operational perspective.
• Supervises assigned employees.
• Works closely with department and division management, along with customer service personnel, to integrate activities, provide quality customer service, and enhance internal operations.
• Develops and conducts training and education programs for staff, as appropriate.
• Conducts periodic audits to monitor and control risk.
• Assist in writing/updating all policies and procedures for the department to establish and ensure internal controls.
• Ensures that all activities of the Loan Administration Group are conducted in accordance with established lending policies and procedures.
• Assists with regulatory compliance efforts; monitors department adherence to regulation; maintains a satisfactory rating for compliance and other audits, as well as overall quality control.
• Works to implement new processes to steam line procedures and ensure timely delivery of servicing requests.
• Looks for new and/or better ways to gauge the accuracy of the servicing function as it pertains to upload accuracy and collateral perfection.
  
  

Education Qualifications

• A B.S. or B.A. degree in related field of study normally required.
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in related positions normally required.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  
  

Skill(s)

Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; thorough knowledge of current lending laws and regulations; moderate computer skills; demonstrated management and supervisory skills: ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects, handle or feel, and lift items weighing 20 lbs. or less; visual, auditory and speaking skills.
