Job summary

Marvin in Reno, NV is seeking a loading dock supervisor to lead the department, ensure trucks are unloaded and loaded completely and on time, and to uphold safety standards across shifts.

You will develop and train associates, make decisions to improve team performance, maintain required paperwork and audits, and coordinate product flow with production lines and other facilities. A high school diploma and two+ years of supervisory experience are required; forklift certification is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lead independently and communicate effectively.
• Two or more years of related supervisory experience or training.
• ICIM and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge is helpful.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Lead loading dock department to meet/exceed company goals.
• Ensure trucks are unloaded/loaded completely and on time; maintain safety.
• Develop and train associates; drive a proactive, successful work environment.
• Prioritize tasks and make decisions impacting the team and company.
• Maintain paperwork, audits, and documentation; conduct reviews.
• Communicate with internal/external customers to coordinate daily goals.
• Coordinate product flow with other facilities and production lines.
