The higher end of the range, $28.25 per hour, is reserved for candidates with exceptional experience or qualifications.Shift: Mon-Fri, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PMEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Actively participate in Seaport Steel’s Safety Program.Load trailers using a hostler, forklift, and crane.Review work order paperwork to ensure load accuracy.Unload incoming trailers and railcars.Observe load hookups and assess load safety.Operate crane controls to regulate the speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.Select and use appropriate hoisting attachments (e.g., hooks, slings, buckets) based on load requirements.Clean and maintain the crane and hoisting equipment.Inspect cranes for defects and report any issues or malfunctions to a supervisor.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
