Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Loader Supervisor for our Portland, OR Service Center. This full-time role oversees dock and dispatch operations, manages drivers and freight handlers, and ensures safety and quality procedures are followed.

PTO begins after 90 days, with an excellent benefits package and access to employee resorts. Qualifications include proven leadership, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of freight handling

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Outbound Operation Supervisors at our Portland, OR Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations.

PTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resorts.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager

Requirements / Qualifications

• Candidates must have proven basic leadership experience.
• Must have the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Organizational /Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
• Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas
• Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred.
