Loader - Rail Switching Technician
Gibbstown, NJ

Work Schedule: 12 Hour Rotating Shift (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)

Pay Range: Starting at $23.00 with opportunities for advancement

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Loader

• Cleans and visually inspects the railcar before transfer to ensure it is mechanically sound
• Connects or disconnects loading arm hose for product transfer
• Inspects for leaks, weighs railcars, and completes required paperwork

Rail Switchman / Locomotive Engineer Operator

• Plans railcar movements by examining track lists to spot, separate, load, and build for shipment
• Operates trackmobile or locomotive to move railcars safely within the plant
• Communicates with team members, leadership, and customers
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required; paid on-the-job training is available
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or TWIC card depending on location
• Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass drug screening, physical, and background checks
• Military experience and ability to follow procedures are advantages
