Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Loader role at our Austin, TX store. You will assist customers, load merchandise, and support checkout and order fulfillment while maintaining safety and stock levels.

Responsibilities include loading customer vehicles, staging large orders, and helping in the Garden Center and Pro areas. Prior hardware/retail exposure and physical stamina are valued for accurate, efficient service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic software functions.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service per Lowe’s policies and programs.
• Assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise and respond to questions.
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate store equipment safely and effectively to move, stage, and load merchandise.
• Maintain in-stock conditions by stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Identify and report safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management.
• Load customer vehicles using proper techniques based on order size, weight, and fulfillment needs.
• Support loading for Pro and Garden Center zones to ensure order accuracy and on-time pickup.
