Job summary

Pick Your Part is seeking an experienced yard/warehouse operator to move salvage vehicles through all operation phases, update inventory with scan gun/tablet, and support dismantle and yard duties.

You will perform safety inspections, operate multiple heavy machines, and communicate with management. The role requires basic tech skills, strong teamwork, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a related role.
• Must have heavy equipment operations experience and some automotive background.
• Must possess basic technology competence (scan gun, tablet/phone applications).
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm in a high‑pressure environment.
• Must work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely (wheel loader, car crusher, skid loader, forklift, etc.).
• Move salvage vehicles through operating phases and update inventory.
• Check fluids daily and report findings to management.
• Prioritize workload to prevent delays; plan tasks with dispatch.
• Assist with regulation compliance and quality assurance of dismantled vehicles.
