Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join our salvage operations team. The role involves operating various heavy equipment to move salvage vehicles, supporting dismantling and yard activities, and updating inventory using scan guns and tablets.

You will follow safety procedures and comply with regulations while coordinating with management and teammates. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of heavy equipment experience and a basic automotive background, plus strong communication

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in heavy equipment operations.
Must have heavy equipment operations experience and some automotive background.
Must possess basic technology competence (scan gun, tablet/phone applications).
Must have good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment safely to move salvage vehicles through all operation phases.
Support dismantling and yard operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
Use scan gun and tablet/phone to update inventory and fulfill daily work orders.
Communicate with management and team members about delays or issues.
Perform pre-operational inspections and check fluids.
Assist with safety and regulatory compliance for the facility.
