Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Loader Operator to safely operate heavy equipment at a recycling facility, landfill or transfer station, performing loading, spreading, covering and compacting waste or soil with efficiency and care.

Responsibilities include pre/post inspections, handling equipment like forklift and excavator, monitoring waste quality, and following safety policies to keep the site compliant. Benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package.

Qualifications

• Two years prior related experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
• Good follow through ability; ability to adhere to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise.
• Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks.
• Maintains a feeling of pride in work; strives to achieve all goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as forklift, excavator, bulldozer, and front-end loader.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable material and report as needed.
• Perform and document minor service on equipment; escalate major issues.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and other reports as needed.
