Job summary

RiverBend Materials is seeking a skilled loader/operator to safely load highway trucks with aggregate and perform routine yard maintenance. You will operate wheel loaders (and occasionally excavators) with attention to safety and efficiency.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), 1–2 years related experience, and the ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math. CDL is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read site specs, simple instructions, memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders and occasionally excavators safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safety on slopes and barricades; follow safe operating procedures.
• Perform minor servicing and refer major issues to supervisor.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order.
• Communicate professionally with customers and sales staff.
