Job summary

Terral Riverservice Inc. is seeking a reliable Laborer to support loading and unloading of aggregates from barge to truck. You will operate material handling equipment, follow safety procedures, and communicate site activities to supervisors.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work varied hours, including holidays and weekends. Pre-employment background and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Dependable transportation to designated TRS locations, no exceptions.
• Able to work various hours/holidays/weekends.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Performs general labor tasks (shoveling, sweeping, etc.).
• Operates unloading/loading equipment and heavy machinery (material handlers, Skid Steer Loader, Front-End Loader).
• Consults with personnel on machine specs and safety procedures to ensure safe site operations.
• Conducts routine inspections before operating equipment to identify maintenance or repairs.
• Performs or requests repairs and adjustments to equipment.
• Communicates and reports site activities as required.
• Effectively completes unloading and related tasks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
