Job summary

RiverBend Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled loader operator to safely load highway trucks with aggregate and assist with yard maintenance. The role requires attention to safety and ability to perform minor servicing and basic maintenance.

Work will involve operating wheel loaders, occasional excavators, and collaboration with sales staff. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus. The position is based in Prineville, OR with potential travel between locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend site specifications, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Valid driver’s license required. CDL a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders and occasionally excavators to load highway trucks with aggregate.
• Maintain safe slopes and proper barricading around excavations.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Keep machines clean and maintained.
• Communicate with customers and sales in a professional manner.
• Travel to and from various locations.
• Assist in production operations when a portable crusher is on site.
• Routinely assist other members of the work force in different areas of production.
• Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Regular and timely attendance.
• Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
