Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts and front end loaders, ensuring accurate material movement and inventory control. You will support production by stocking materials, labeling products, and preparing shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, with forklift certification preferred. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work any shift is expected.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets loading slips, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Follows all safety procedures and policies.
• Able to read instructions and communicate clearly.
• Performs basic math and understands units of measure.
• Willing to work any shift.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to move product into inventory and onto/off trucks.
• Operate loaders to stock the production line with raw materials.
• Ensure proper rotation and placement of finished goods.
• Label and package products for inventory.
• Check packaging quality and quantity before shipment.
• Load trucks with finished product for delivery.
• Ensure pallets and packaging are safe for shipment.
• Complete daily equipment inspection paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
