Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH Company, seeks a dependable loader operator to work on construction sites in Oklahoma. You will operate heavy equipment, load materials, and perform routine maintenance while adhering to OSHA/MSHA safety standards and foreman guidance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and related construction experience. The role is outdoor, outdoors-based, with potential for overtime and team training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience or training in construction or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate rubber-tired or crawler tractors equipped with front-end scoop buckets safely and efficiently.
• Excavate and load materials from pit sites, stockpiles, and batch plants; load trucks as needed.
• Maintain a vigilant approach to workplace safety for yourself and your team.
• Lift materials weighing up to 50-100 pounds unassisted when required.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers, using hand signals and maintaining eye contact, especially when maneuvering equipment in shared workspaces.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and all OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe work practices.
• Follow direction from the Foreman regarding daily tasks and project expectations.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor servicing; "escalate major issues to the Foreman."
• Complete daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, documenting findings according to company guidelines.
• Assist in training less experienced team members on equipment operation, service, and repair.
• Perform general labor duties as required to support site operations.
