Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, seeks a Loader Operator for Austin Portables. You will operate heavy equipment for groundwork and construction, following OSHA/MSHA safety rules and site directions to support multiple projects in the Austin area.

The role requires basic reading of project documents, good communication, and the ability to work in a team. 18+ years old, willing to travel, and capable of shifts including nights/weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights, safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Report problems to Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager.
• Follow Foreman directions for daily tasks and expectations on each project.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems to supervisor.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on operation, servicing, and repair of equipment.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
