Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Loader Operator to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment at our plant, moving sand, gravel, and cement to keep the concrete flowing. You’ll load trucks, inspect gear, and collaborate with the production team to stay on schedule.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, safety mindset, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather. High school diploma is helpful but not required; training is provided.

• Experience running loaders or other big machines is helpful, but willingness to learn and work hard is valued.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Safety-focused mindset and ability to speak up if something’s not right.
• Team player with good communication on a fast-paced site.
• Physical fitness to stay active in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure material availability.
• Collaborate with crew and production to keep schedules on track.
• Inspect equipment before/after shifts and report repairs as needed for safety.
• Follow safety rules, wear gear, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Assist with inventory counts and keeping materials stocked for operations.
