Living Earth, a leading producer of premium soil blends and mulch, seeks skilled heavy equipment operators for our Nashville, TN site. You will operate front-end loaders and excavators, loading mulches, soils, compost, sands and gravels into trucks and customer vehicles on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• At least one year of front-end loader operation.
• At least one year of excavator operation.
• Strong disposition for positive customer service; go above and beyond for customers.
• Strong communication skills especially verbal communication.
• A can-do attitude to work in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (Front-End Loaders, Excavators, Grinders, Screeners, etc.) on site in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Load mulches, soils, compost, sands and gravels into trucks and customer vehicles.
• Maintain, clean and safely store Living Earth equipment and materials.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment checks per SOP.
• Complete paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Provide recommendations for improving environmental performance.

The successful candidate will operate and minimally maintain front loaders and excavators on our work site.
