Job summary

Living Earth is seeking skilled heavy equipment operators for our Houston site. You will operate front-end loaders and excavators, perform material loading from mulches to gravels, and ensure equipment is maintained and safely stored. The role includes pre-/post-shift checks and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• At least one year of front-end loader operation.
• At least one year of excavator operation.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work in diverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (front-end loaders, excavators, grinders, screeners) in compliance with safety policies.
• Load mulches, soils, compost, sands and gravels into trucks and customer vehicles.
• Maintain, clean and safely store equipment; complete pre-/post-shift checks.
• Complete paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Contribute to environmental performance improvements.

The successful candidate will operate and minimally maintain front loaders and excavators on our work site.
