Job summary

Arcosa Brand is seeking a capable team member to operate a rubber tire loader and support plant operations. You will feed the plant, load trucks, stockpile materials, and keep yards and roadways clean while following safety procedures. Regular communication with a field supervisor is essential to fulfill daily instructions.

You will perform basic maintenance, log equipment issues, and assist with housekeeping and orderly storage at end of day. 18+ and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
• Some experience in manual labor or equipment operation preferred.
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance, Monday through Saturday.
• Positive, team-based attitude and reliability.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate rubber tire loader with competency and caution, and adhere to safety procedures and requirements.
• Feed plant, load trucks, stockpile materials, pushup stockpiles and maintain clean yard and roadways.
• Communicate on regular basis with field supervisor regarding assigned work and instructions.
• Use hand tools to maintain or repair equipment as needed.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment and notify supervisor of deficiencies.
• Inspect equipment and maintain a written log of deficiencies.
• Maintain housekeeping of the work site and proper storage of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

What you’ll do:

• Safely operate rubber tire loader with competency and caution, and adhere to safety procedures and requirements
• Feed plant, load trucks, stockpile materials, pushup stockpiles and maintain clean yard and roadways
• Communicate on regular and continuous basis with field supervisor regarding assigned work to accomplish and specific instructions
• Use hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdriver, sledge hammer, and others as needed to accomplish daily tasks to maintain and/or repair equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment (i.e., oil and filter changes, other equipment or motor repairs as necessary); notify supervisor of any deficiencies or repairs needed
• Inspect equipment and maintain written log of all equipment-related deficiencies
• Maintain housekeeping of work site including trash pickup, keeping tools in order; proper storage of equipment at end of workday
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

• Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs, respirator, gloves and various other similar items as required
