Arcosa Crushed Concrete is seeking a dependable equipment operator to safely run excavators and support crushing operations at our Lakeland, FL site. You will follow safety procedures, coordinate with the field supervisor, and contribute to efficient material processing.

This stationary role requires regular attendance Mon-Sat, ability to lift 100 pounds, work in all weather, and wear safety gear. There is opportunity for growth, training, and a performance-based annual increase.

Competenze

• Some experience in construction or operating equipment.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance Monday thru Saturday.
• Team-oriented attitude.

Mansioni

• Operate equipment with competency and caution per safety procedures and requirements.
• Safely operate excavator to process concrete rubble and feed crusher while removing non-suitable debris.
• Communicate regularly with field supervisor regarding assigned work and instructions.
• Work in a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Use hand tools to maintain/repair equipment as needed.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on plant or mobile equipment.
• Inspect equipment daily prior to operation and notify supervisor of deficiencies.
• Maintain site housekeeping and proper storage of tools at end of day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll do:

• Operate equipment with competency and caution and adhere to company and federal safety procedures and requirements
• Safely and efficiently operate excavator to process (with hydraulic or mechanical processor) concrete rubble to reduced material size to feed crusher while also removing long and loose rebar or other debris not suitable to feed plant
• Communicate on regular and continuous basis with field supervisor regarding assigned work to accomplish and specific instructions.
• Work in a successful and positive team environment
• Use hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdriver, sledgehammer, and others as needed to accomplish daily tasks to maintain and/or repair equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance as required on plant or mobile equipment
• Inspect equipment daily prior to operation; notify supervisor of any deficiencies or repairs needed prior to use
• Maintain housekeeping of work site including trash pickup, keeping tools in order, proper storage of equipment at end of workday.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
• This is a stationary position with limited travel.

Working Conditions:

• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Able to climb heights of 20 feet on a regular basis

• Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs, respirator, gloves and various other similar items as required.
