Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Loader Operator for our Clarksville, TN quarry to support a positive safety culture in an underground mining environment regulated by MSHA standards. You will work with a team to produce natural aggregates and haul loads to the primary crusher, primarily using Cat and Komatsu haul trucks.

Qualifications include 3–4 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in an operator role.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Positive, team-based attitude.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, and climb stairs/ladders/catwalks up to 60 ft.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied conditions (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Comply with MSHA safety standards and site rules.
• Maintain mobile equipment per company standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Pre-shift equipment inspections for safety defects.
• Operate Cat haul trucks (775/777) and Komatsu trucks (465/605).
• Learn to operate other underground equipment (Loaders, Haul Trucks, Scalers, Bolters).
• Maintain strong communication with plant personnel and operators.

Job description

Job Summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Loader Operator based out of our Clarksville, TN Quarry to support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. in our East Region. This role is responsible for working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment. Work in an underground setting haul loads of stone to the primary crusher.

Day to Day

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Comply with all industry safety rules, policies, procedures and applicable government regulations
• Maintain mobile equipment according to company standards.
• Be involved with maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Pre-shift equipment for safety defects and report them to a supervisor.
• Operate a 775,777 Cat haul trucks. Operate 465,605 Komatsu haul trucks.
• Learn how to run other various underground equipment. Such as Loaders, Haul Trucks, Scalers and Bolters.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

About You

Working Conditions

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
