Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Loader Operator to join our underground mining team in the East Region. You will work with a crew to haul stone to the primary crusher and maintain a safe, efficient operation under MSHA rules.

Responsibilities include pre-shift safety checks, equipment maintenance, and clear communication with plant staff. The role requires 3-4 years of experience, a HS diploma or GED, and a team-focused attitude in varied outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Operate a 775,777 Cat haul trucks. Operate 465,605 Komatsu haul trucks.
• Learn how to run other various underground equipment. Such as Loaders, Haul Trucks, Scalers and Bolters.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

Job Summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Loader Operator based out of our Clarksville, TN Quarry to support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. in our East Region. This role is responsible for working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment. Work in an underground setting haul loads of stone to the primary crusher.

Day to Day

Working Conditions

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
