Arcosa Aggregates seeks a Yard Loader Operator at our Lake Lynn, PA quarry to support a safety-driven, team-based environment in an aggregate/mining setting. Work involves hauling loads to the primary crusher in an underground context while complying with MSHA safety standards.

You will promote safety, perform pre-shift checks, and collaborate with plant staff to ensure steady throughput and a clean, orderly work area. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years' mining/aggregate experience preferred.
• Promote safety and comply with MSHA standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 60 feet; work in varied outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard loaders and assist with rock haulage to crushers.
• Promote safety and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Pre-shift equipment checks and report defects.
• Collaborate with plant team to optimize throughput.

Job description

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Yard Loader Operator based out of our Lake Lynn, PA Quarry to support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. in our East Region. This role is responsible for working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment. Work in an underground setting haul loads of stone to the primary crusher.

Day to Day

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Comply with all industry safety rules, policies, procedures and applicable government regulations
• Maintain mobile equipment according to company standards.
• Be involved with maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Pre-shift equipment for safety defects and report them to a supervisor.
• Learn how to run other various underground equipment. Such as Loaders, Haul Trucks, Scalers and Bolters.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

About You

• 3-4 years' experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Working Conditions

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
