Job description

Great Hills Constructors is currently seeking a Loader Operator for the 183 North Mobility Project in Austin, TX.

The Loader Operator's primary function is to operate a loader at the worksite to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building structures. Equipment operators are also expected to assist with other duties around the jobsite as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a loader to move and transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other aggregates.
• Follow operating procedures for loading and unloading materials.
• Perform routine maintenance, oiling, greasing, safety checks, and complete necessary documentation.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with safety policies and communicate effectively with team members.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
