Role Overview

The Loader Operator is responsible for moving and loading vehicles using a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation of vehicle movements, conducting daily pre and post-trip inspections, and ensuring a safe work environment by following company safety guidelines. The operator will also facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs, ensure equipment is maintained, and operate digital documentation tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
2. Maintain accurate vehicle movement records and documentation.
3. Perform daily inspections and record-keeping for assigned machinery.
4. Set up yard for auctions within specified timelines.
5. Provide customer service as needed, maintaining a professional demeanor.
6. Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
7. Assist with equipment maintenance and vehicle operations.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least two years of outdoor work experience.
• One year of loader or forklift experience; certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high integrity.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to pass training and safety requirements.
